Not there yet !

I know the title to our blog is Biker Hikers ,I just want you to know we are still driving to the places we are going to be hiking at. We have a wedding that we are going to attend first and then we will start hiking. So please enjoy the things we see and do on our way out West !

O.K.L.A.H.O.M.A.....Oklahoma

Every time I say Oklahoma I want to start singing . We had a long day today it was HOT and very windy. I am putting Oklahoma on my list with Kansas as my least favorite states to ride through. As we were riding today I was thinking of all the history there is  around us. I wish I could know what it was like for the pioneers and what the Indians went through on the trail of tears. Also you think about the soldiers that walk the fields during the Civil War . Today seemed to be more history  then anything and that is Ok. Even the lake we stopped by was called Tenkiller  Lake,

Showboat Branson Belle

Today we all went to different shows, Dale and I went on the Branson Belle dinner and show cruise . we had a great time.

Fish Hatchery and Dam

Today while Dale and I were waiting for our Showboat Cruise we stopped at the Dam and Fish Hatchery. It was cool seeing the trout go crazy when you feed them.

Branson Landing

We got to Branson around noon today and we went down to the Branson Landing. while we were there we got to see the Fire and Water show that goes off every hour to music.

Let the Adventure begin !

Today was just a day of hard riding to get to Missouri ! There was not much to see until we got off on the wrong exit and our GPS was set to avoid highways. We went threw a part of town that was very interesting ! Dale told Bernie he wanted to see the Arch but we didn't think it would happen by getting lost !
